Hallo Jungs, sorry i verwendet übersetzen hoffe, Sie können verstehen, Englisch
thought i'd share with you the results of the big end seizure on my 570 cases are total junk,punched a lump out the cases when it seized then fell in many bits when i took the cases apart :kadw: managed to get some more cases and currently rebuilding,now with 100mm wossner piston :D stainless valves etc,many thanks to the dino doc's rebuild post,its been a great help,photo's here-

Looks like a typically "to-long-at-full-speed" damage...

Outch, that looks like it stopped the engine in less than half a sec, mate ;-)
Did you find the cause for that?
Just out of interest, you could salvage only the gears and clutch I suppose? The barrel gone as well?
What's the total rebuild cost to get it back on road?
I bought myself for a situation like that a complete recently rebuilt engine.

could be but not by me,previous owner neglect i think :evil:

yeah i had to pull the clutch a bit quick,i think lack of maintenance by previous owners,barrel and piston mullered but got the barrel bored and plated,got it back today :D looks like new,

saved everything else,was ok,parts alone and cylinder plating etc comes to about £1200 i think,about 2000aud but i stopped counting,

That was meant in both ways. Proper job in totally destroying the motor and proper job in rebuilding :D

I know what it costs to do that, so I hope you have better luck this time.
