TE 610 SM '00

Hello folks. I'm from Finland and new on this forum, so please don't bite my head off for posting this in English. :)

So, I'm thinking of buying a '00 TE 610 which has been built as a supermoto.
It has '03/'04 plastics. The previous owner has crashed with it so it needs a new handlebar and wheel rims. It has a few scratches here and there. How many supermoto's don't?

The engine has been completely re-done.
BigBore-kit, forged hi-compress piston, racing camshaft, new bearings etc.
The carb has an extra gas chamber. FP-Racing titanium exhaust. Along with the bike comes two original cylinders, complete head, 5-speed gearbox, crankshaft, electrics and so on.

The engine has been on the road for two summers, only city-drive. Not on the track.

So here are the questions:

Is the bike worth a look? I won't tell the price because of the different taxes here in Finland.

How durable is the engine? How often must I change the oil and the oil filter?

I'm thinking of driving on the streets since the bike is registered. Maybe some track driving too.

Here's a photo:

The bike has been crashed after the photo, so the damages don't appear there.

Greetings from Finland

Jussi

Hey Hörnchenmeister,

thanks for the info.

How long can you drive the TE 610 engine without any bigger reparations, like the piston, cams or so?
