Für die Huskys aus Varese mit den 17 Zoll Schuhen. (Na gut, 16,5" vorne is auch OK :-) )

Beitrag von sm570nut »

hi,
hope someone can help, just rebuilt the 570,when trying to start,no go,the timing was spot on when rebuilding, all marks aligned, the stator plate is correctly aligned, magnets in flywheel are intact and in the correct place as is the woodruff key,,seemed like it was going to go now bike back fires through the airbox, checked stator and flywheel, all looks good, stumped, any ideas? :klopp:

Did you misalign the camshaft and the timing chain?

i may have found the problem, the mark for aligning the stator plate on the replacement cases is definately different to the original cases,i think i may have a set of 410 cases, where these different does anybody know?the rear engine mount on my 570 was 17mm and these cases were 14mm and i had to enlarge to 17mm,the cases i got are 2001 and the bike is 2002,so they either changed between years, but i'm guessing 410/510 cases maybe :ka:

grr,still no go

14mm Swingarm Shaft = till 1998 ! AND NO Oilpump inkluding !!!

17mm Swingarm Shaft = from 1998< and Mikuni Oil Pump in the Case

You cannot use the 2002 Crank in the old case ! because the lower Conrod Bearing stays near to dry when engine is running
it will fit, but its crap :!:

410 case wont fit with 570 engine Stuff, so its a old one 610 case

The Timing mark for the Stator is 5mm more left then in the Oilpump Case.

cases have the oil pump, engine number is 2001,but still had the 14mm swingarm pivot, the stator mark on the cases is more to the right than on my old original cases,i guess not from a 410 then,

these are the original cases, the same as in dino docs rebuild
so i made a template
and transfered that mark to my other cases, this is the mark on the replacement cases
and this is the mark from my template
i know the magnets have'nt moved as i had this problem before and so marked the flywheel

So what did you do to the stator? rotate it a little?

yes, only 1mm i made a template from my old cases and transfered the mark to the new cases,i was still about o.8 to 1mm out,as the doc said is 5mm different,it's still not starting to easy,i think the mixture needs attention, still,i'm a lot happier than i was 2 days ago, engine sounds as sweet as a nut :Top:
