HUSQVARNA BACK TO VICTORY IN FRENCH MOTOCROSS

Husqvarna got the podium in the French Motocross Championship after 25 years thanks to the impressive performance held of Thomas Allier in the first round held in Villevielle. In the MX1 class, Allier was first in the first heat, while in the second race the French rider got third to the chequered flag. A final victory in the super final, in which he was ahead of MX2 as well, made him jump on the first step of the podium. Good week end also for Allier’s team mate Christophe Martin, who still on a TC 450, was 4th and 3rd in the two heats respectively, while suffered of bad luck in the super final race in which he had to withdraw because of a problem to the clutch system. Allier is now MX1 class leader in the French Motocross Championship, while Martin is 6th.



GUILLAUME STARTS SEASON IN PERFECT SHAPE


Victorious week end for Husqvarna French rider in their national championships. While Allier and Martin were fighting in the MX, factory Enduro rider Sebastien Guillaume won the first round of the French Enduro Championship held in Cosne sur Loire. Guillaume, who’s competing in the E3 on a TE 510, was ahead of Nambotin riding a 300 two stroke. Guillaume’s team mate Marc Bourgeois finished on second position in the E1 class behind winner of the overall classification Julien Gauthier. Husqvarna is also leader in the provisional manufacturer classification.



MUCCI TEAM STILL ON TOP OF ITALIAN ENDURO

The first Under 23/Senior Italian Enduro Championship round took place last Sunday in Cerro al Lambro. The young talents of Mucci Team gave their very best at the beginning, especially Maurizio Gerini (Under 4 stroke class) and Jonathan Manzi (125 2t Under 23 class). The two riders won every single tests and Manzi got even the overall classification ahead of 300 rivals. Good performance for Guido Conforti in the 125 2 stroke under 23 class, and Luca Bertolotti (250 2 stroke under 23), both on 4th position at only 2 seconds from the podium. Next round will be held in Sanremo on April 13th.


GOOD RESULTS FROM GNCC


Good round for Kearney and Crockand in the GNCC second round held in Washington. The two XC1 Pro class rider got 9th and 11th positions respectively. The Washington round was right next to the first round held in Florida, which put the riders of the championships to a tough test.


BARTOLINI KEEPS ON TESTIING IN ITALIAN MOTOCROSS

Factory motocross test rider Andrea Bartolini took the third round of the Italian MX as a good chance to go on testing the TC. Unfortunately weather condition were extremely bad with heavy rain that made the track close to Pisa very muddy. Good result for Stevanini who arrived at the chequered flag on 7th position in heat 2 which made him 10th in the day classification.

Sehr gut, vor allem, da er aus Fehlern (Übermotivation !) wie in München sehr schnell zu lernen scheint !

Würd' mich freuen, den 'Knaben' heuer mal beim GCC zu sehen ...

P.S.: Aus was für 'ner Gegend kommt denn der Stefan Hau eigentlich ?
Will sagen, isser eine Natur-Sand-Wühlmaus oder was haben wir auf normalem Terrain erst noch zu erwarten ?

stefan hau ist soweit ich weiß der sohn von edi hau, und der ist denk ich tiefster bayer... , alles andere als ein sandfloh. er hat auch schon inder em gute ergebnisse eingefahren
da ist noch einiges drin

Sagen wir mal so - ich hab' letzte Woche wieder fahren angefangen, ging eigentlich ganz gut, schneller als im Herbst - nur ist danach das Knie wieder dicker geworden ...
Auf alle Fälle werde ich starten und besser sein als letztes Jahr (z. B. E-Starter-Kit an meiner TC, kenn' jetz' die Strecke und kann somit mein Fahrwerk adäquat abstimmen usw. ) - wie schnell, kommt drauf an, ob ich in den nächsten vier Wochen im Schnitt drei mal in der Woche auf'm Mopped trainieren kann ...

Schau'n mer mal - es kommen noch viele Rennen diese Saison !

@ Tuller: Was hatteste denn mit deinem Knie?

An meinem rechten Knie wurde am 20.12. letzten Jahres 'ne kleine 'Sanierungsmaßnahme' (Innen- und Außenmeniskus 'zurechtgestutzt', Kniescheibe 'n bisch'n versetzt und 'n Knorpel wieder schön geglättet) vollzogen.
Hab' übrigens die komplette OP (25 Minuten) aus der Im-Knie-Perspektive mit Live-O-Ton des Chirurgen auf DVD .
Als selbständiger Handwerksprofi kann ich nur sagen:

"Well done ... !"

Der Vollständigkeit halber sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben, daß die Daten von @ sinisalo

1. nur für gestern, also Samstag, gelten und
2. Antoine Meo in der E 2-Klasse nicht 6., sondern 5. wurde, mit weniger als einer Sekunde Rückstand auf den 4. und nur gut 46 (!) Sekunden auf Rang 1 !
Bei einer Wertungsprüfungs-Gesamtzeit von einer Stunde lässt das für die nächsten Läufe mehr als hoffen ...

eriksson bekam auch 10 strafsekunden aufgebrummt und wurde trotzdem 4.!!!

Habe ich da eventuell 'was durcheinander gebracht und etwa unserem @ sinisalo Unrecht getan und er meinte die Sonntagsresultate?
Jedenfalls meinte ich die Samstagsresultate ...

Und noch 'was zum Eriksson :

Ohne die Penalty wär' der Hund doch glatt nach 3 Jahren wieder auf's Podest gefahren - auf BMW und schneller als -Seb Guillaume !
Der fährt ja anstatt Anders heuer die Werks-TE 510.
Das wird noch interessant werden ...

haste ja grad noch die kurve gekriegt für anders hätte es glaub ich auch ohne strafe nicht aufs podium gelangt-aber heut ist er nur wegen eines sturzes in der letzten wp nicht zweiter geworden - trotzdem respekt. hoffen wir mal für ihn das geht so weiter oder wird noch besser. im vorfeld muss es ja schon mächtig geraucht haben im bmw lager. irgendwie bekommen die die kinderkrankheiten nicht so ganz in den griff. in der ami gcc fahrn die teilweise wieder mit huskys weil sie keine gängigen bmw s herbekommen

AMAZING MEO AT MX INTERNATIONAL RACE IN ITALY

Easter was the occasion for a wonderful Motocross show. Special guest in the International race was Enduro French rider Antoine Meo who stole the scene to the main MX riders. Antoine was author of two breath-taking heats on CR 144, the only two stroke present in the race. In the first heat, Antoine was stopped by a group crash and had to recover from the very last position with a furious run up to the third place, leaving the public present at the cross track astonished. In heat 2, again a contact with another rider forced Meo to ride the whole race without clutch. Even the situation was tough, Antoine rode until the end arrived 4th at the chequered flag which made him climb on the third step of the podium. Not a good day for Italian Andrea Bartolini in MX1 who, after a contact with Cairoli, got injured, while Stevanini, after performing the hole shot, arrived 9th in the first round, while in round 2 had to withdraw after falling badly.


ALLIER FOURTH IN FRENCH MOTOCROSS




The French Motocross championship arrived for its second round in Thomar La Sogne, Noirthern France, where heavy rain and mud didn’t help the riders. Husqvarna rider Thomas Allier got a 4th place overall tanks to his perfomances during the day in which he was 3rd and 4th in the two heats. In the superfinal held together with MX2 riders, Allier unfortunately fell down and recovered only to 6th place. Allier teammate Martin, on TC 450, arrived 8th and 7th in the two races, conquering the 10th position overall.



HUSQVARNA JUNIOR TROPHY, A CHALLENGE IN THE CHALLENGE

The first round of the Junior Trophy, a special challenger open to the young Enduro World Championship riders, had its very first round in Sweden. On 43 participants all belonging to the Enduro Junior class, 17 attended the snowy race on a 2 stroke bike, which made them apply to the trophy. The provisional first placed rider of the challenge is Marc Bourgeois on WR 125, thanks to his good results (1st and 2nd in the two days). Next round of WEC and Husqvarna Junior Trophy will be held in Portugal on March 29 and 30.



WRIGHT AND CINI AUSSIE TALENTS

Good performance for TC 250 2008 and Adam Cini, Australian rider at his first time on the 250 4 stroke. Cini had his debut last week end in crazy hot Townsville. Race condition were extremely difficult, but Cini felt immediately at ease with the new bike and got the second place. Same result for young Jake Wright who, still on TC 250, was second at the end of the day.
