Übersetzung

Hello

Weiss jemand welche Übersetzung man brauchst für ein TC 610 mit 5 Gänge (Cross Getriebe)- Ich habe jetzt 15 z vorn und 48 z hintern.
Aber mit diese ubersetzung kann ich nur ca. 100 km pro stunden fahre, weil die Motor zu viele Umdrehungen hat....  

Die TE 610 hat ca. desselbe übersetzung, aber ein Gänge mehr-  aber hat es auch viele Umdrehungen auf 100 km pro stunde?

I forgot : es ist ein Super moto umbau mit 17 " Rädern....

versuch mal vorne ein 16er ritzel! ich denke das würde schon viel ausmachen.

Guck mal bei Husqvarna-Motorrad.de. Da sind alle Modelle drin, mit der originalen Übersetzung.

TE610 = 15:45
SM 610 = 16:45

Ich weiss ja nicht, wie deine 5 Gänge untersetzt sind, aber auf jeden Fall solltest du länger übersetzen.

The TC610 with the 5 speed gearbox has almost the same gear ratios as the TE610, only the 1.gear is missing...
The 5.gear of the TC is the 6.gear of the TE and also the primary ratio is the same.
15:48 is quite short for these bikes and ok for the racetrack. For street use I recommend not shorter than 17:48.
But be careful to the clutch in stop and go traffic...

I am planning on buying a TE 610 transmission instead- I think it will better for the clutch ...

Do you know what the the problem could be when the clutch is slipping (only with 3/4 and full gas) ?
I have adjusted it according to the manual..

A last question: will this bike ever could be runned on highways/motorways ?

Hi Jesper

if the play of the clutch lever on the motor (not only on the handlebar) is adjusted it could be that the wrong oil is used. Specially car motoroil has additives that is not compatible with motorbike clutches. To much oil can also be the reason.
Or the clutch is just worn out.

For shure there are better bikes for highway use.
But with a long transmission ratio and a good motoroil a speed of 120kmh can be run without problems.
And remember: only drive with full throttle as long as you can stop breathing.
(nie länger vollgas fahren als man die Luft anhalten kann; frei übersetzt)

I have a 15w/ 40 oil- special motorcycle oil... no car oil!!  Maybe the clutch plates are worn as you say.'

But I saw that a german Husky dealer sells special non-slipping clutches- do you have experience with this?

how much rpm do you think you have when you drive 120 kmh app ?

I don't have experience with these special clutch plates, my original ones work fine.
Now I use 15W50 semisynthetic oil. I used to by the expensive fullsynthetic oil but some guys here in the forum wrote that this is no good for the husky motors without oilfilter...

With 17/48 and the 17J wheel you have about 5500rpm @ 120kmh.
I made an excell sheet for the different ratios if you are interested.
